Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1:

To meet the needs of the development of pickleball, continually increase the number of pickleball athletes in China, enhance the technical and tactical skills of pickleball athletes, gradually establish a standardized promotion system, ensure orderly competition, and foster a mobile and rational pickleball athlete population, further standardizing the training and registration management system for pickleball athletes in China, these measures are formulated.

Article 2:

The management of pickleball athlete training and registration is the responsibility of the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's Pickleball Committee.

Article 3:

All participants must first become individual members of the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's Pickleball Committee.

Chapter 2: Level (Assessment) Training

Article 4:

The Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's pickleball athlete Level (Assessment) Training is divided into seven levels: 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0.

Article 5:

Individuals who become personal members and voluntarily accept and adhere to the relevant management regulations of the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association for pickleball athletes, enthusiasts with a desire to engage in pickleball and good health, can participate in the athlete training and assessment organized by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association.

Article 6:

Participants in training can choose the appropriate level training course based on their own circumstances without the need for sequential training assessments.

Article 7:

All athletes with corresponding level certificates must participate in at least one event of the designated or approved level by the committee each year, or else they will be downgraded by 0.5 levels annually.

Chapter 3: Advanced Training

Article 8:

To continually update knowledge and improve technical and tactical skills, all level athletes must participate in Advanced Training as stipulated in Article 9.

Article 9:

All athletes with corresponding level certificates must attend Advanced Training at least once a year and pass to retain their original level. Athletes who, within two years of obtaining a level certificate, do not participate in any Advanced Training recognized by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association will have their registration canceled.

Chapter 4: Training Class Hosting Application

Article 12:

All Level (Assessment) and Advanced Training class hosting must be applied for by the hosting unit and approved by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association to be included in the recognized system outlined in these measures.

Article 13:

Both Level (Assessment) and Advanced Training classes can be conducted online or offline.

Article 14:

Any unit applying to host training classes must willingly accept and adhere to relevant regulations for pickleball athletes and conduct training according to specified requirements.

Article 15:

Units intending to host the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's pickleball athlete training classes must apply to the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association before the end of December of the preceding year. Once approved, they will be included in the training plan for the following year.

Chapter 5: Coaches

Article 16:

All coaches for Level (Assessment) training classes must be coaches recognized by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association at the corresponding level.

Article 18:

All coaches for Level (Assessment) training classes must voluntarily accept and adhere to relevant management regulations of the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association for coaches.

Chapter 6: Certificate Issuance

Article 23:

All individuals who pass the training and assessment conducted by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association can receive a Pickleball Athlete Technical Level Certificate. The validity period is one year.

Chapter 7: Registration Management

Article 28:

Those who fail to participate in Advanced Training as stipulated by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association or are involved in illegal or disciplinary situations will have their registration canceled.

Article 29:

Anyone wishing to become a pickleball athlete must first register as an individual member with the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's Pickleball Committee to obtain the corresponding technical level through training. Registration takes place annually, and only registered individuals are eligible to participate in relevant individual events organized by the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's Pickleball Committee.

Article 30:

All relevant registration information for pickleball athletes will be published on the corresponding website.

Article 31:

Pickleball athletes who fail to register according to regulations for two consecutive years will have their registration canceled. They can reapply one year later.

Chapter 8: Supplementary Provisions

Article 32:

Specific management regulations for registration in pickleball athlete training will be formulated separately according to these measures.

Article 33:

The interpretation of these measures belongs to the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association's Pickleball Committee.

Article 34:

These measures come into effect from the date of publication.
